Description: Join HTML Hype and showcase your web design skills by building an interactive website
using any website building tool, as long as the final submission is in HTML, CSS, or PHP. Compete
against others and win recognition for your creativity and talent. Whether you're experienced or new to
web design, this fun competition is perfect for pushing your skills to the limit. Don't miss out on the chance
to win rewarding experiences and showcase your prowess in web design!
Flow of the event:
1) Contestants come in a team of one to four people.
2) These teams will be given a half hour time limit to build a frontend based website collaboratively.
3) The teams are to record all their progress using github, with consistent and quality commits.
4) Once the allotted amount of time is up, the contesting teams are to submit their projects in the form of a
presentation, a demo of the website and a link to the Github Repository.
5) All the submissions would be judged by a panel of judges, who would shortlist teams for the final
round, which would be held on the next day.
Rules:
1) Languages such as: HTML/CSS, Javascript, PHP and any development Framework may be used.
2) Contestants are expected to maintain quality Git commits
3) Contestants are not allowed to leave the premises or attend any type of calls for the duration of
the event.
4) Contestants are not allowed to pick up the projects from the Internet. (Note that: Contestants are
allowed to refer to sites like: StackOverflow, Bootstrap, W3schools etc, but are expected to
design the web pages themselves)
Judging Criteria:
1) Quality and regularity of Git Commits
2) Clear and Clean User Interface and Experience.
3) Presentation Skills
4) Responsiveness of Website
